Taras Vysotskyi, First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, took part in the online panel discussion “Talking about the Future. New Market Rules and Strategies”, which took place within the framework of the international forum Euro Grain Hub Exchange & Forum 2023, which takes place in Bucharest.

The event was also attended by the Minister of Agriculture of Romania Petre Dea and Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Agriculture of Moldova Vladimir Bola.

According to the First Deputy Minister, Ukraine values cooperation with Romania. Most agricultural goods transit through Romania. This route is very important for Ukrainian farmers. And the transit concerns not only grain but also processed products such as biofuels, sunflower and soybean oils.

Taras Vysotsky emphasized that we must find a common solution – clear and comfortable rules for the export of Ukrainian agricultural products.

“There is no other way, no matter how much we want it. Because the enemy uses every opportunity against us. Russia creates problems not only for us, but also for our neighbors, and you feel it yourself. Therefore, I am sure that you understand us like no one else,” the First Deputy Minister said.

He also thanked the partners for their understanding and support.

EURO GRAIN HUB Exchange & Forum is a new regional platform to address the key agri market developments and deliver effective discussions and networking for all involved in the agricultural sector – from farmers, traders, input suppliers, animal and feed industry and stretching to logistics, storage, innovations, etc.
