USDA heeded data of Ukraine’s State Statistics Service and raised its corn crop estimate

Ukraine. The corn crop in Ukraine was adjusted by 1 MMT, to 29.5 MMT, with exports raised more significantly (thanks to high demand from China), by 1.5 MMT.

The wheat and barley figures were left unchanged.

Russia. Based on real-time harvest data from Russia, the wheat crop estimate was raised by 0.5 MMT, to 84.0 MMT, with a corresponding increase in exports.

The corn and barley crops and exports did not change.

Kazakhstan. The estimates of Kazakh grain production and exports in December did not change.

Thus, Black Sea grain production decreased by 0.76%, equaling 198.83 MMT now, with export potential up 2%, at 102.26 MMT, UkrAgroConsult reports.
