USDA: forecast for the Black Sea oilseed crop raised insignificantly
In the March report, the USDA raised its estimate for the Black Sea 2019/20 oilseed crop to 49.244 MMT (+0.108 MMT).
The crop increase will be accounted for by adjustments to the sunflower seed production forecasts for Kazakhstan (0.918 MMT, or +0.118 MMT) and Russia (15.305 MMT, or +5 KMT), reports UkrAgroConsult.
The figure for Russia’s soybean crop was lifted slightly (+59 KMT).
The 65 KMT rapeseed crop increase in Ukraine will be offset by drops in Russia and Kazakhstan (-60 KMT and -79 KMT, respectively).
