USDA: forecast for the Black Sea oilseed crop raised by 0.4 MMT
In the February report, the USDA raised its estimate for the Black Sea 2019/20 oilseed crop to 49.136 MMT (+0.433 MMT), reports UkrAgroConsult.
The increase is accounted for by upward adjustments to the sunflower seed production forecast for Ukraine (16 MMT, or +0.5 MMT), though that for Moldova was reduced to 0.806 MMT (-0.094 MMT).
The figure for Moldova’s rapeseed crop was increased to 0.077 MMT (+0.027 MMT).
