USDA: estimate of the 2021 Black Sea oilseed crop raised at the expense of Ukraine and Russia

In the July report, the USDA raised its forecast for the 2021/22 Black Sea oilseed crop to 49.4 MMT (rapeseed production in Ukraine and Russia upped by 100 KMT, with a 2 MMT increase in the Russian sunseed crop):

– sunseed – 36.850 MMT (+2 MMT);

– soybeans – 8.210 MMT;

– rapeseed – 6.497 MMT (+0.2 MMT).

The 2020/21 Black Sea crop of oilseeds was increased by 100 KMT at the expense of an adjustment to Russia’s rapeseed crop – 44.2 MMT:

– sunseed – 30.573 MMT;

– soybeans – 7.417 MMT;

– rapeseed – 6.212 MMT (+0.1 MMT), UkrAgroConsult reports.
