Ukrainian ports almost double cargo handling
According to operational data, in January-May 2024, Ukrainian ports handled 45.8 million tons, which is almost twice as much as in 2023, the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority reported.
As noted in the report, the USPA is currently working to expand the range of cargo and restore container and ferry transportation. “Given a favorable security situation, we are striving to reach the average pre-war level of cargo turnover,” the statement emphasizes.
