Ukrainian grain exports are almost 0.5 million tons lower than last year
As of September 13, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 5 mln 370 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 435 thsd tonnes less than last year on the same date. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 2 million 502 thousand tons, which is 668 thousand tons or more than 1.3 times more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 542 thousand tons of barley and 0.6 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 2 mln 311 thsd tonnes, which is 1 mln 113 thsd tonnes or almost 1.5 times less than last year.
Also, 29.2 thousand tons of flour were exported, or 38.9 thousand tons in terms of grain, which is 10.9 thousand tons or 1.6 times more than last year.
It is worth noting that as of September 8, in 2023/2024 MY, Ukraine exported 5 mln 054 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses.
