Ukrainian flour exports in July-October hit an eight-year low

11.76 KMT of Ukrainian flour was exported in October (-21% from September, -66% from October 2019/20). July-October exports totaled 62 KMT (-46% on the year and the lowest since MY 2012/13), UkrAgroConsult reports.

As before, the top importer is the UAE with a 22% share, but exports to this destination are two and a half times lower than a year ago.

The largest October volumes were shipped to Palestine and Somalia, making these countries the third and fourth biggest importers of Ukrainian flour, respectively.

The majority of importers reduced purchases, with the following countries showing the greatest year-on-year cuts: China (-87%), Mozambique (-62%), Belarus (-45%) and Somalia (-25%).

A rise in exports was registered to Moldova, Israel and Venezuela.
