Ukrainian farmers will receive more than 30,000 sleeves for storing crops.

At the end of September, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy opened the acceptance of applications for receiving sleeves for grain storage. You could participate until October 9.

Due to high demand, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) have extended the acceptance of applications until October 23. You can fill out the necessary form through the State Agrarian Register.

According to the terms of the program, farmers must have from 100 to 10,000 hectares under official cultivation, and use the received sleeves to store their own grown products. At the same time, their status — owner or tenant — is not important, as is their legal status (applications from both legal entities and individual entrepreneurs are accepted). The key requirement is land cultivation on the territory controlled by Ukraine.

The project is being implemented by the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and FAO with the financial support of Canada, Japan and the Minderoo Foundation — for a total of $60.5 million. This aid is expected to cover 30% of the national need.

By October 9, a total of 1,494 applications were received from small and medium-sized agricultural producers to receive 30,120 sleeves for temporary grain storage.
