Ukrainian farmers have already sown more than 600 thousand hectares
Agricultural producers in the territory controlled by Ukraine have already sown 620.5 thousand hectares of grain and pulses crops. This is reported in the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
In particular, there have been sown:
- spring wheat – 126.7 thousand hectares;
- spring barley – 376.6 thousand hectares;
- peas – 73,100 hectares;
- oats – 41.3 thousand hectares;
- millet – 0.2 thousand hectares.
The leaders are the agrarians of Ternopil region who have already sown 112.1 thousand hectares of grain and pulses plants.
Sowing of sugar beet has begun in Vinnitschina, Volyn region, Rivne region, Ternopil region, Khmelnitschina and Cherkasy region, 25.6 thousand hectares have been sown, the leader is Vinnitsky region.
Agrarians of Mykolaiv, Odesa, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky and Bukovyna regions started sunflower sowing, 21 thousand hectares were sown.
