Ukrainian farmers harvested almost 74 million tons of new crop

As of mid-November, Ukraine harvested almost 74 million tons of new crops: 53 million 780.8 thousand tons of grains and 20 million 239 thousand tons of oilseeds.

Grain and pulses crops were harvested on an area of 10,104 thou hectares with a yield of 53.2 c/ha, namely

• corn was harvested on 3,195 thou hectares at a yield of 74.2 c/ha, with a total harvest of 23 mln 707 thou tons;
• wheat was harvested on 4,694.5 thousand hectares at a yield of 47.7 c/ha, with a harvest of 22 million 409 thousand tons;
• barley was harvested on 1 504.5 thousand hectares at a yield of 39.2 c/ha, with a harvest of 5 890 thousand tons;
• peas were harvested on 154.4 thousand hectares at a yield of 25.8 c/ha, with a harvest of 398.2 thousand tons;
• buckwheat was harvested on 139.6 thousand hectares at a yield of 14.8 c/ha, with a harvest of 207.1 thousand tons;
• millet was harvested on 79.2 thou hectares at a yield of 22.6 c/ha, with a total harvest of 179 thou tons;

Other grains and pulses were harvested on 337.4 thou hectares, yielding 991 thou tons.

Oilseeds were harvested on the area of 8 139 thou hectares, in particular:

• sunseed was harvested on an area of 4,947 thou hectares, with a yield of 11 mln 586 thou tons of seeds at 23.4 c/ha;
• soybeans were harvested on the area of 1 796.2 thou hectares, harvested 4 750 thou tons at a yield of 26.4 c/ha.
• rapeseed harvesting has been completed, with 1,396 thou hectares harvested, 4.5 mln tonnes of seeds harvested at a yield of 28.7 c/ha.

Sugar beet harvesting is ongoing, with an area of 227.1 thousand hectares dug up, 10 million 816 thousand tons of sweet roots harvested, yielding 476.2 c/ha.

Farmers in Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv regions have completed harvesting all crops.
