Ukrainian corn exports slowed in H2 2019/20 

Corn exports in March totaled 3.5 MMT, or up 2% from February 2019/20 and down 6% from March 2018/19, UkrAgroConsult reports.

21.5 MMT had been exported since the beginning of the season, and this is still 14% more than in the same period last year.

The year-over-year gap in Ukrainian corn deliveries to the EU widened to 25% in March vs. 23% in February. The EU’s share in corn exports from Ukraine fell from 60% in MY 2018/19 to 40% this year.

Exports to all other major destinations are higher than a year earlier: China: +60%, Egypt: +22%, Turkey: +22%, South Korea: up almost seven times.
