Ukraine's grain exports have risen in the first weeks of the 2019/20 July-June export season, reaching 1.94 million tonnes in the month to date from 1 million tonnes a season before, the agriculture ministry said on Friday.
Ukraine plans to harvest at least 70 million tonnes of grain this year, almost the same volume as it threshed in 2018.
The volume included 394,000 tonnes of wheat, 350,000 tonnes of barley and 1.19 million tonnes of corn, the ministry said in a statement.
It gave no export forecast for this season. In 2018/19, Ukraine exported a record 50 million tonnes of various grains.
