Ukraine’s grain and flour exports 60.74% more than last year
In the new 2019/2020 marketing year, Ukraine exported 4.189 million tonnes of grain crops and flour of the new harvest, which is 60.74% more compared to the previous year, according to the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry.
"As of August 6, 2019, Ukraine exported 4.189 million tonnes of grain, leguminous crops and flour of the new harvest, which is 60.74% or 1.583 million tonnes more compared to the corresponding date of the previous season,” reads the report.
In the reporting marketing year, Ukraine exported 1.575 million tonnes of wheat, 1.023 million tonnes of barley, and 1.587 million tonnes of corn.
In addition, in the 2019/2020 marketing year, Ukraine exported 27,500 tonnes of flour of the new harvest, which is 25,100 tonnes more than on August 6 of last year.
