Ukraine. Ukrproinvest-Agro reports record-high sunflower and soybean yield
The production branches of UKRPROMINVEST-AGRO have completed grains, legumes and oilseeds harvesting. In the current production year, the company’s farms in Vinnytsya region, FC Podillya and FC Zoria Podillya, harvested soybean on 19.7 thou. ha at an average yield of 3.5 t/ha.
As reported by UKRPROMINVEST-AGRO, it is the second-best indicator achieved by its farms which is about a third higher than the average in Ukraine (2.6 t/ha). The highest soybean yield was harvested in the farm Klembovka of FC Podillya — 3.86 t/ha of actual yield.
Sunflowerseeds harvest was completed by FC Podillya and FC Zoria Podillya at an average yield of 3.7 t/ha. Malochulska, a branch of FC Zoria Podillya, reported sunflower average yield of 4.05 t/ha, marking the highest yield produced by UKRPROMINVEST-AGRO in 2021.
Farms in Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava regions harvested sunflower at more than 3 t/ha, 30% above the average in Ukraine (2.3 t/ha).
UKRPROMINVEST is currently conducting autumn field works in its branches, including cropping. The company also informs about the ongoing sugar beet processing at its two plants in Vinnytsya region.
Sunflower and soybean harvesting in Ukraine as of 28 October was 90% completed, corn campaign covered 44% of the projected area.
