Ukraine. Soybean meal exports remain at record high
Soybean meal exports from Ukraine in September-November 2019/20 hit a record of 218.2 KMT. The rise in shipments stemmed from higher carryovers along with lower domestic crush, reports UkrAgroConsult.
The EU is still the biggest importer with a market share of 51%. The volume of purchases almost doubled from the same time last season.
Growth in exports was registered to Belarus (+175%), Turkey (+123%), Poland (+98%).
A slowdown in exports observed to Lithuania (-96%), Germany (-95%) and Georgia (-44%).
