Ukraine. New technology will allow substituting GM-soybeans in feeds with sunflower concentrate
POTOKY Oil Extraction Plant (the city of Dnipro) has developed a unique technology for production of high-protein sunflower concentrate that is able to drive genetically modified soybeans out of the animal feeds market, reports UkrAgroConsult.
The developed technology has already been tested at the plant on small parcels.
The extractor is planning to supply primarily high-protein sunflower concentrate to Ukraine’s domestic market.
