Ukraine. Mykolaiv port will be able to accommodate Panamax vessels
"Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority" (USPA) completed dredging in Mykolaiv port. Restoring the specified depth will allow the port to increase its capacity and ensure safe unloading of large-capacity Panamax-type vessels, reports UkrAgroConsult.
Mykolaiv port became the fifth of seven planned ports, where the USPA carried out the dredging. Total works accounted for more than 890 thousand m3. The specified depth of the approach channel of Mykolaiv port is now 11.2 m, while water area of Dnieper-Bug port is 11.5 m.
