Ukraine. More than 1.3 Ml ha planted to spring crops

According to official data, 1.345 Ml ha had been planted to early spring grains in Ukraine by April 2, 2020.

Planting of the following crops lags behind last year:

– spring wheat (-7%),

– spring barley (-33%),

– oats (-17%).

Pea planting is 31% ahead of last year, UkrAgroConsult reports.

Sunflower had been planted on an area of 91 Th ha (1.5% complete). The pace of planting is 17% ahead of last year.
