Ukraine has already harvested almost 23 million tons of grain

Ukrainian farmers have already harvested 22 million 961 thousand tons of early grain crops. The harvest was carried out on an area of 5,292 thousand hectares with a yield of 43.7 c/ha, in particular

  • 3830 thou hectares of wheat were threshed (yield – 46.2 c/ha), 17698 thou tons were harvested;
  • barley was harvested on 1263 thousand hectares (yield – 38.8 c/ha), harvested 4901 thousand tons;
  • peas were harvested on 146.6 thousand hectares (yield – 24.6 c/ha), harvested 361.2 thousand tons;
  • millet was harvested on 0.3 thou hectares (yield – 6.9 c/ha), harvested 0.2 thou tons;
  • buckwheat was harvested on 0.08 thou hectares (yield – 11.3 c/ha), with a harvest of 0.1 thou tons.

The largest harvest in Odesa region is 3.2 mln tons, and farmers in this region have already completed harvesting early grains and pulses. Also, Zaporizhzhia farmers are the leaders in grain harvesting, having threshed 90% of the area. Farmers in 13 regions have finished harvesting peas.

Dnipropetrovs’k and Kherson regions have started harvesting millet. Buckwheat harvesting is also underway in Dnipropetrovs’k region.

All regions continue to harvest rapeseed, which has been threshed on an area of 1315.2 thou hectares, yielding 3702.1 thou tons of seeds at 28.1 c/ha.

7 regions have already finished harvesting this crop.
