Ukraine has already harvested 57.6 million tons of grains and oilseeds

Ukrainian farmers have already harvested 57.6 mln tons of grains and oilseeds. Grain and legumes were harvested on an area of 8 275.3 thousand hectares with a yield of 47.4 c/ha, and 39 228.2 thousand tons of grain were harvested, including

• wheat threshed on 4 694.5 thousand hectares (yield – 47.6 c/ha), harvested 22 359 thousand tons
• corn – 1 376.7 thou hectares (yield – 67.4 c/ha), harvested 9 282 thou tons;
• barley was harvested on 1 504.5 thousand hectares (yield – 39.0 c/ha), 5 863 thousand tons were harvested;
• peas were harvested on 154.4 thousand hectares (yield – 25.7 c/ha), 396.8 thousand tons were harvested;
• buckwheat was harvested on 136.6 thousand hectares (yield – 14.9 c/ha), with a harvest of 203.6 thousand tons;
• millet was harvested on 77.4 thou hectares (yield – 21.0 c/ha), with a harvest of 162.4 thou tons;
• other cereals and pulses were harvested on 331.2 thou hectares, with a harvest of 961.6 thou tons.

Agricultural producers in Kyiv, Kirovograd, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Sumy, Cherkasy and Khmelnytsky regions harvested more than 2 million tons of grain in each region. In Odesa, Vinnytsia and Dnipropetrovs’k regions, the harvest was more than 3 million tons. Zaporizhzhia region has completed grain harvesting.

Oilseeds were harvested on an area of 7,395 thousand hectares, with a total harvest of 18,457 thousand tons, including

• sunseed was harvested on an area of 4,357.5 thou hectares (yield – 23.4 c/ha), with 10,211 thou tons of seeds harvested;
• soybeans were harvested on the area of 1 641.4 thousand hectares (yield – 25.8 c/ha), 4 241 thousand tons were harvested;
• rapeseed was harvested on an area of 1,396 thousand hectares (yield – 28.7 c/ha), and 4,005 thousand tons of seeds were harvested.

Sugar beets were dug on an area of 125.3 thousand hectares, 5,912 thousand tons of sweet roots were dug with a yield of 471.9 c/ha.
