Ukraine has $ 7.5 billion in grain reserves – Mykola Solskiy
On the territory of Ukraine there are stocks of grain that were intended for export, about $ 7.5 billion.
This was announced by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskiy on a telethon.
“The primary task of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy is a to support a sowing campaign in Ukraine. The second, and not less important task, is reestablishment of grain export logistics“ said the Minister.
Previously, 4-5 million tons of agricultural products were exported through ports, but they were blocked due to the war between Russia and Ukraine.
“Today, we export only several hundred thousand tons across the western borders. That is why it is important to establish exports, of course, taking into account the stocks needed for domestic consumption, “Mykola Solskiy said.
