Ukraine. Harvesting progress, August 8.08.2019

According to the latest information as of August 8, the pace of harvest still being ahead of last year for such crops as: wheat (+5%), barley (+14%), oats (+64%), winter rapeseed (+29%), reports UkrAgroConsult.

1.2 Th ha of pea is left to be harvested, with a total crop 20.4% lower than last year.

The following crops show higher yields than last year: wheat (+10.6%), barley (+16.1%), rye (+4.7%), oats (+12.2%), peas (+26.1%).

Winter rapeseed yield is down 6.0% from a year ago, 15.7 Th ha is left to be harvested, with a total crop 21.1% higher than last year.
