Ukraine harvested over 63 million tons of grains and oilseeds

As of the end of October, Ukraine harvested 63.2 million tons of new crops, including 43.4 million tons of grains and 19.6 million tons of oilseeds. Grain and pulses crops were harvested on the area of 8 849.8 thou hectares with the yield of 49.0 c/ha, including

• wheat was harvested on 4,694.5 thou hectares (yield – 47.6 c/ha), with a harvest of 22,409 thou tons
• corn was harvested on 1,947.3 thousand hectares (yield – 68.4 c/ha), harvested 13,320 thousand tons;
• barley was harvested on 1 504.5 thousand hectares (yield – 39.2 c/ha), harvested 5 890 thousand tons;
• peas were harvested on 154.4 thousand hectares (yield – 25.8 c/ha), 398.2 thousand tons were harvested;
• buckwheat was harvested on 138.1 thousand hectares (yield – 14.9 c/ha), with a harvest of 205.6 thousand tons;
• millet was harvested on 78.6 thou hectares (yield – 22.7 c/ha), with a harvest of 178.4 thou tons;
• other grains and pulses were harvested on 332.5 thou hectares, yielding 964.9 thou tons.

Oilseeds were harvested on the area of 7,813.7 thou hectares, in particular

• sunseed was harvested on the area of 4,687.9 thou hectares (yield – 23.6 c/ha), 11,074 thou tons of seeds were harvested;
• soybeans were harvested on the area of 1 729.8 thousand hectares (yield – 26.1 c/ha), harvested 4 507 thousand tons;
• rapeseed harvesting is completed, the area under threshing is 1 396 thou hectares, 4 005 thou tons of seeds were harvested with a yield of 28.7 c/ha.

Sugar beet harvesting continues, with 155.4 thou hectares dug up, 7,334 thou tons of sweet roots harvested, yielding 472.1 c/ha.

Farmers in Zaporizhzhia have completed harvesting the entire crop this year.
