Ukraine gave China a list of registered exporters of vegetable oil

The State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, together with the Ukroliyaprom Association, has summarized information about Ukrainian producers of vegetable oil, which export it to China, and submitted it to the Chinese side for consideration. This was reported by the press service of the State Food Service.

This is due to changes in the national legislation of the PRC. In October this year, the State Food and Consumer Service received information from the General Customs Administration of the People’s Republic of China (GACC) on the need to register foreign manufacturers of food products, in particular vegetable oil. In particular, this is regulated by the “Regulations on the procedure for registration of foreign manufacturers of imported food products” (GACC Decree No. 248) “, – said the press service.

According to the GACC, the registration procedure and the formation of a list of vegetable oil exporters will be completed by the end of 2021.

The State Food Service, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is actively working to open the Chinese market for Ukrainian exporters of many types of food products, including livestock products (poultry and eggs and egg products), crop products (wheat, rapeseed, sorghum, peas and beans), cherries , wheat flour, soybean meal, apples, blueberries, etc.
