Ukraine. Farmers started harvesting sunflower

According to the latest information as of August 27 grain and pulses crop is 14.3% higher than last year. The yield is13.3% higher than last year, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Harvest of late crops: buckwheat acreage is forecasted at 68 Th ha; 8% harvested with a 5.6% lower yield than in 2018.

Millet acreage forecast is at 90 Th ha; 30% harvested with a 23.1% higher yield than in 2018.

Growers have harvested 121 KMT of sunseed from 81 Th ha with a yield of 1.49 MT/ha (-12,4% year-on-year).
