Ukraine. Farmers started corn harvesting

According to the latest information as of September 5, farmers started corn harvest, with its progress being 76.8% behind last year and a 3.4% higher yield than in 2018, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Harvest of late crops: buckwheat harvest is 53.6% behind last year, with a 4.0% higher yield than in 2018; millet harvest is 101.5% ahead of last year, with a 18.9% higher yield than in 2018.

Sunseed harvest progress and yield are comparable with last year, with a 1.2% larger total crop than in 2018. Soybean harvest is 51.9% ahead of last year, with a 5.8% lower yield than in 2018.

829 Th ha had been planted to winter rape (77% complete).
