Ukraine exported more than 6 million tons of grain since the beginning of the season

The export volume of grains and pulses from Ukraine in 2023/24 MY as of September 22 amounted to 6.04 mln tonnes, down 17% compared to the same period last season. This is evidenced by the data of the State Customs Service, published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

Thus, since the beginning of the season, 2.9 mln tons of wheat have been shipped, which is 19% more than last year.

Barley supplies to foreign markets amounted to 596 thsd tonnes, down 4% year-on-year.

Rye was shipped in the amount of 0.6 thousand tons (-77%).

Ukraine exported 2.5 mln tons of corn, down 39% from the same date last season.

Flour exports from Ukraine amounted to 33 thsd tonnes, up 55% year-on-year.

For reference: in 2022/23 MY, Ukraine exported 49 mln tonnes of grains and pulses, including 16.8 mln tonnes of wheat, 2.7 mln tonnes of barley, 18 thsd tonnes of rye, 29.1 mln tonnes of corn and 153.6 thsd tonnes of flour.
