Ukraine exported a record volume of corn starch
Ukrainian corn starch exports in September – October 2019/20 totaled 18.1 KMT, 115% more than in the same time last season. That was the all-time high for this period of year, reports UkrAgroConsult.
Corn starch production in September – October 2019/20 was up 110% year-on-year, at 26.1 KMT.
Export shipments to all key importers showed growth during the period under review: Indonesia (+58%), the UAE (+179%), the EU (+70%).
Exports to Saudi Arabia rose sharply (up 5% from the 2018/19 total).
