Ukraine exported 1.7 times less corn than last year
As of September 27, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 6 mln 339 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 1 mln 628 thsd tonnes less than last year on the same date. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 2 million 599 thousand tons, which is 1 million 889 thousand tons or 1.7 times less than last year. At the same time, Ukrainian wheat exports amounted to 3 million 115 thousand tons, which is 335 thousand tons or 1.1 times more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 603 thousand tons of barley and 0.6 thousand tons of rye.
Also, 35.1 thousand tons of flour were exported, or 46.8 thousand tons in terms of grain, which is 11.9 thousand tons or 1.5 times more than last year.
The previous data published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on the exports of grains and pulses were dated September 25. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY, the export volume of grains and pulses was 6 mln 152 thsd tonnes.
