Ukraine is now exploring the possibility of exporting grain by rail across the western border.

This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.

“The “zeroing” of quotas and restrictions is being worked out with Western neighboring countries in order to supply grain through Moldova and Romania, send grain through the ports of a neighboring country in the Black Sea, which is not in the zone of occupation,” Roman Leshchenko, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, explained the intentions .

“We need to open at least one port now, and we will be able to export up to 5 million tons per month. Then there will be losses, but they will not be critical,” he stressed.

The global food crisis, according to Leshchenko, will lead to an economic crisis around the world. Therefore, the end of the war in Ukraine is a matter of global order, and not a problem of a single region.
