Ukraine. Corn yield is going down

According to the latest update as of November 4, planting of winter grains is 3.4% behind last year. The area planted to winter rape is already 4 Th ha above the official forecast and up 5.9% year-on-year.

Corn harvest slightly slowed down to 13.4% ahead of last year, its yield is down 4.8% from November 5, 2018, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Buckwheat harvest is almost finished at 97% complete, with the crop being 35.1% smaller than last year. Millet harvest is 66.9% ahead of last year, with 20.3% higher yield than in 2018.

Sunflower harvest progress is 3.1% behind last year, with 8.9% higher yield than in 2018. Soybean harvest slowed down to 6.5% behind last year, with yield down 9.2% from 2018.
