Ukraine. Corn stocks dropped almost by 30%

The State Statistics Service of Ukraine reported the following amounts of grain stocks in the country as of June 1, 2020:

  • wheat stocks were down 18.4% year-on-year, with those kept at storage and processing facilities being down 37.8% and farmer stocks down 5.6%;
  • barley stocks were up 1.7% year-on-year, including farmer stocks up 18.6% and a 25.8% drop at storage and processing facilities;
  • corn stocks were down 29.1% year-on-year, including farmer stocks down 14.0% and a 45.3% drop at storage and processing facilities, UkrAgroConsult reports.
