Ukraine. Corn stocks decreased by 24%
The State Statistics Service of Ukraine reported the following amounts of grain stocks in the country as of April 1, 2020:
– wheat stocks were down 6.3% year-on-year, with those kept at storage and processing facilities being down 23.4% and farmer stocks being up 9.2%;
– barley stocks were up 24.1% year-on-year, including farmer stocks up 34.5% and a 8.4% gain at storage and processing facilities;
– corn stocks were down 24.1% year-on-year, including farmer stocks down 23.% and a 25.0% drop at storage and processing facilities, UkrAgroConsult reports.
