Ukraine. Corn and sunflower planting progress is ahead of 2019
According to official data, more than 6 Ml ha had been planted to spring grains in Ukraine by May 4, 2020, UkrAgroConsult reports.
Planting of the following crops lags behind last year: barley (-1%), oats (-2%), peas (-1%).
The crops whose planting progress is ahead of 2019 include the following:
– wheat (+10%),
– corn (+47%),
– sunflower (+21%),
– soybeans (+2%).
