Ukraine. Corn and sunflower harvest progress slowed down

According to the latest update as of October 15, planting of winter grains slowed down to 12.1% behind last year. Planting of winter rape is 4.2% ahead of last year, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Corn harvest has slowed down (being just 1.0% ahead of last year), with yield unchanged from 2018. Buckwheat harvest is 38.8% behind last year, with 8.4% higher yield than in 2018. Millet harvest is 66.0% ahead of last year, with 21.8% higher yield than in 2018.

Sunflower harvest progress has slowed down to 3.0% behind last year, with 7.8% higher yield than in 2018. Soybean harvest is 1.3% behind last year, with yield down 7.7% from 2018.
