Ukraine advocates the expansion of the “grain initiative” to the ports of Mykolaiv and Olvia.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this in Telegram following a meeting with UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Martin Griffith.

“Ukraine is in favor of expanding the grain export initiative to our other ports. In particular, to the Mykolaiv and Olvia ports in the Mykolaiv region. We count on the support of our partners in this matter,” Shmyhal wrote.

He reminded that within the framework of the “grain initiative” 554 ships with 13.9 million tons of food have already been sent from Ukrainian ports to the countries of Africa, Asia and Europe.
