Ukraine. A new grain terminal in Mykolaiv will handle 0.5 MMT a season
In 2020, the grain trading company Demetra constructed and launched a 42 KMT port grain terminal in Mykolaiv. The facility is projected to handle 500 KMT of grain a season. Demetra built the grain terminal to become independent of other accumulating and handling entities.
The company explained that a shortage of grain-handling capacities at Mykolaiv’s terminals becomes apparent during the peak season every year, UkrAgroConsult reports.
