Ukraine. 23 new terminals were opened in Danube ports this year

In the first 11 months of 2023, Ukrainian ports handled 52.8 million tons of cargo (compared to 45.6 million tons in 2022).

This became known during the final meeting of the Ministry of Infrastructure with heads of diplomatic missions and the public.

In particular, 47.9 million tons of export cargo was handled, and 4.6 million tons of import cargo.

In addition, in 2023, 23 new terminals and 20 new transshipment points were opened in the Danube ports. The company also improved the nighttime transshipment of ships.

“Together with the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, the Ukrainian corridor through the Black Sea has been operating since 10.08.2023. As of November 30, the ports of Greater Odesa handled 6.4 million tons,” the USPA said.
