Turkish Foreign Minister: UN prepares a new package of proposals to restore the grain deal
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has emphasized the importance of reviving the Black Sea Grain Initiative, reaffirming Turkey’s determination to contribute to efforts in this direction.
The official said this during a press conference after a meeting with the Russian side, Daily Sabah reports.
“We will continue to work on the revival of the Black Sea Grain Initiative, which is crucial for global food security, stability and peace in the Black Sea region,” Fidan said.
He noted that the UN has prepared a new package of proposals for the revival of the Black Sea Grain Initiative with the participation of Turkey.
“We believe that this will provide proper grounds for the resumption of the agreement,” he said.
