40.7 KMT of Ukrainian rye was exported in December, or 62% more than in November. 121 KMT had been exported since the beginning of the season (69 times more than a year earlier).

In MY 2021/22, small quantities are also shipped to the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Moldova and Switzerland.

As before, the main buyer is the EU, which absorbs 70% of Ukrainian exports, UkrAgroConsult reports.

Turkey bought no rye from Ukraine last season, but this season it has already imported almost 28 KMT. As a result, the country became the second biggest importer of Ukrainian rye.
