Traffic near the Polish checkpoint “Dorohusk” has been restored
Vehicular traffic near the Polish checkpoint Dorohusk has been restored via an alternative road. This was announced on December 12 by Deputy Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine Serhiy Derkach during a national telethon.
He noted that law enforcement officers are trying to remove a truck that blocked traffic on the main road. There are currently no traffic jams on the alternative road.
According to the official, the collection of data on violations of the protest conditions by the police and protesters made a great contribution to the unblocking of the Yahodyn-Dorohusk checkpoint. It is about preventing the passage of humanitarian aid and dangerous goods.
Three other Ukrainian-Polish checkpoints are still blocked, but continue to operate.
As for the Záhony-Chop checkpoint on the border with Hungary, where a protest by Hungarian carriers was announced, the protesters are not obstructing the movement of freight transport.
