Three vessels with 166.5 thousand tons of agricultural products left Ukrainian ports on January 31

After a 2-day pause, three dry bulk carriers with corn and wheat left Ukrainian ports as part of the “Grain Initiative”. On January 29 and 30, not a single vessel was able to leave the ports of Ukraine due to unfavorable weather conditions.

This was reported by the Joint Coordination Center (JCC).

“On January 31, three vessels left Ukrainian ports, transporting a total of 166.5 thousand tons of grain and other food within the Black Sea Grain Initiative,” the statement said.

Two dry bulk carriers Globe Danae (70 thousand tons of corn) and Wei Hei (63.5 thousand tons of corn) have left for China. The Donna Judi vessel sailed to China with 33 thousand tons of wheat.

“As of January 31, the total tonnage of grain and other agricultural products exported from the three Ukrainian ports amounted to 19,104,631 tons. A total of 1,382 vessels have been authorized to enter the ports: 692 for arrival at Ukrainian ports and 690 for departure from them,” the JCC summarized.
