Three more grain ships leave Ukrainian ports for Asia and Europe
Ukraine’s Infrastructure Ministry said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
According to the report, 23 more ships are being loaded with 856,000 tonnes of Ukrainian agricultural products.
According to the ministry, three ships are moving along the “grain corridor” for the loading of 85,500 tonnes of agricultural products.
In total, since August 1, 504 ships have delivered 12.27 million tonnes of grain and foodstuffs from Ukrainian ports to countries in Asia, Europe and Africa.
Ukraine, Turkey and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres signed the Initiative on the Safe Transportation of Grain and Foodstuffs from the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi in Istanbul on July 22. The first ship with Ukrainian grain left the port of Odesa on August 1.
Ukraine, the United Nations and Turkey agreed in Istanbul on November 17 to extend the Black Sea Grain Initiative for another 120 days.
