Russia’s launching of kamikaze drones over Odesa did not affect the departure of ships with Ukrainian agricultural products from the seaport. This was announced on the air of the national telethon by the spokesman of the Odesa regional military administration, Serhii Bratchuk.

“Every day at least 7-8 bulk carriers leave our ports… There are still requests, and their number has not decreased since the drone attacks. I think that the world community perfectly understands that this is the agony of the enemy. And after the agony, you yourself know what’s coming,” Bratchuk noted.

The OVA spokesman emphasized that the economy of the region is working for the defense of Ukraine, and the “grain initiative” is also working.

As reported by Ukrinform, according to the data of the Ministry of Infrastructure, the day before, on September 25, within the framework of the implementation of the “grain initiative”, 7 ships with 146.2 thousand tons of agricultural products for the countries of Africa, Asia and of Europe

In total, 4.85 million tons of agricultural products have been exported since the first ship with Ukrainian food left.
