The Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine will create a state-owned company to work in Africa

At a meeting on Monday, June 19, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the establishment of the Ukrainian-African Trade Mission LLC at the request of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food. The government’s representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, reported this on Telegram.
“The mission will operate on a permanent basis to ensure Ukraine’s foreign economic interests in African countries and support the process of providing humanitarian assistance through advisory services,” Melnychuk added.
He clarified that the authorized capital of the new company will be UAH 1 thousand, and it will be 100% owned by the state represented by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
