The first train with Ukrainian grain arrived at the German port
The Czech freight railway operator CD Cargo transported the first grain train from Ukraine to the German port of Brake. From there, the party will sail to Egypt.
This was reported by Zdopravy.
The consignment contains about 1,800 tons of corn, which was loaded into wagons in a dock near the Slovak town of Cierna nad Tisza.
“Representatives of CD Cargo are negotiating with the Ukrainian side on various transport routes. Today, mainly through Polish and German ports, southern routes are also offered through ports in the Adriatic Sea, ”said Tomasz Toth, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CD Cargo.
It is noted that the advantage of CD Cargo is that the railway operator is licensed to operate in all neighboring countries.
