Today, August 1, the first test vessel with a grain cargo left the Odesa seaport accompanied by a port tug.

According to the information of the Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov, the first to test the grain corridor is the ship RAZONI under the flag of Sierra Leone, which will head to the port of Tripoli (Lebanon). There are 26,000 tons of Ukrainian corn on board.

During the testing, the regulation and all procedures for the operation of the humanitarian grain corridor agreed upon by the Initiatives signed between Ukraine, Turkey and the UN will be checked.

According to the results of the test passage of the vessel, the obtained results will be analyzed in detail, which will be taken into account in the future to establish the permanent mode of operation of the corridor.

In the area of the Bosphorus from the Black Sea side, the Turkish side has determined the coordinates of the place where the vessels will be inspected.

We will remind, on July 22 in Istanbul, Ukraine signed an initiative with the UN and Turkey on the opening of a “grain corridor” from the ports of Great Odesa. In parallel with the UN and Turkey, Russia signed the initiative.

On July 27, the official opening of the Joint Coordination Center established in Istanbul for the safe transportation of grain cargoes from Ukrainian Black Sea ports took place. The Center includes five representatives each from Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and the UN, both military and civilian. The center will register and monitor the merchant vessels that will be included in the initiative, carry out technical monitoring of the departure of merchant vessels by means of communication and carry out all its activities in coordination with the participating countries and the UN.

Vessels will be inspected by joint inspection teams at locations deemed appropriate during loading at Ukrainian ports and upon arrival at Turkish ports.

Crews usually want seven feet under the keel. We wish you a safe flight.
