The European Commission and representatives of Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Bulgaria, and Romania have completed negotiations on the import of agricultural products from Ukraine.

This was stated by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Polish Radio reports.

The head of government emphasized that an agreement had been reached with Brussels on this issue. The agreement stipulates that EU restrictions will replace those imposed by member states on agricultural products. The Commission will ban imports of five products: wheat, corn, rapeseed, sunflower, and sunflower oil.

“Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia and Hungary have asked to expand the list to include eggs, poultry and dairy products, but for these products, the commission will first conduct an investigation. If the results confirm the destabilization of the market, the duty will be returned,” the newspaper quoted the head of the Polish government as saying.
