As for rapeseed, local enterprises processed 1.26 mln tonnes of the crop in June (-18% compared to May 2023) and 9.33 mln tonnes in the first 6 months (+12% compared to January-June 2022).
At the same time, last month soybean processing volumes decreased by about 14% to 1.11 mln tonnes compared to May. Since the beginning of the year, there is a 7% decrease to 7.06 mln tons.
On the contrary, sunflower seeds are growing month-on-month. In June 2023, 517 thsd tonnes of seeds were delivered to the crushing plants for further processing, which is 2.5% more than a month earlier. Since the beginning of the year, the figures have increased by 9% to almost 3 mln tons.
